Achala: Vermicompost is a nutrient-rich organic fertilizer produced through the breakdown of organic material by earthworms. It improves aeration, drainage, and water retention, and boosts the population of beneficial microorganisms in the soil while helping to maintain a neutral to slightly acidic pH, ideal for most plants. It provides essential nutrients like nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium (NPK), and trace elements, improving root structure, overall plant growth, and soil health by enhancing microbial activity, water-holding capacity, and aeration. Being eco-friendly, it is made using biodegradable organic waste and earthworms, promoting root development and increasing plants' resistance to pests and diseases.
